Hide and Seek: SEED’s Sharing Art with Winston-Salem

Finders of art!
Finders Keepers! Smiles from happy art-finders.

This week I’m working with fellow SEED Collective artists on a community art project that’s so much fun! We’re hiding art objects created by our artist members in the downtown Winston-Salem, NC area for folks to find and keep for FREE! It’s been a joy to see the creative ways artists have approached the project and even MORE fun to hear from gleeful art-finders. You can read more about the project on SEED’s website.

In Winston? Join the hunt! You can still find art –hints are here and on our facebook page. A few photos of the project in progress below and here

This project is in conjunction with SEED’s group exhibit on display at the Community Arts Cafe. We have an artist reception Thursday the 22nd from 5:30 – 700 pm for the exhibit, if you’d like to meet SEED artists and hear more about our “Planting Art in the Community” project.

Look at all these treasures!
Hiding art - under the rainbow
SEEDlings were having fun finding hiding places for art in the rain, but then a rainbow bloomed in the sky made the afternoon perfect. There’s more art somewhere under the rainbow! Join the hunt.
