Here’s an in-progress shot of Doll Baby, waiting for the weeds to be installed. I like the way she looks with her arms all hanging down, in some ways she looks more on the verge of moving, this way. The potential is more ominous, or something. If I do any other installs with her, I’ll have to remember that.
With her is her new slithery companion. A few more pictures after the jump. If you wanna see this piece in person, it will be at the Delurk Gallery in Winston for the month of March, along with several other pieces of mine. This has been a fun experiment in taking an existing piece of my work further.
