Flags of Our Mothers exhibit at The Green Bean

The Green Bean Coffee Shop Presents:
Flags of Our Mothers – The art of Woodsherry Anderson

Featuring new work by artist and printmaker Woodsherry Anderson, including a series of large-scale bed sheet prints exploring areas where identity, personal mythologies and societal pressures collide. As You Sow, a soft-sculpture installation built from found and reclaimed materials, will also be created in the exhibit space.

The exhibit opens Friday, November the 2nd and you’re invited to visit with the artist from 7-9 PM, during downtown Greensboro’s First Fridays Art Hop. There will also be live music from local band Laura Jane Vincent starting at 8 PM that night. The Flags of Our Mothers exhibit will be display through the end of December, so if you can’t make the opening you have plenty of time to get your art buzz on!
