Back on the beaten path after a few days away

rocky knob hike, VA

I managed to slip away for a few days in the mountains, here’s a photo from a hike along the Blue Ridge. We had a great view of fog and rain for most of our stay —making for some cozy cabin afternoons and allowing me plenty of time to sketch and work on concepts for new work. Gotta get busy!  I’ll be showing this November at The Green Bean in Greensboro. My current thematic thought is “Flags of our Mothers”; we’ll see where the work takes me.

I’ll also be participating in a SEED Collective group show at InterSection Gallery in Winston-Salem in November and have a few collaborative projects in the works. It’s shaping into a very busy and productive Fall!
