Two recent pieces of mine will be showing in the Appalachian Alumni in the Arts exhibit opening this Friday, February the 4th. The exhibit will be up until Saturday, June 4, in the main gallery. My quilt, “Dissection of Eve” will be one of my pieces on display, and if you haven’t seen it in person, as with any fabric work, it’s the only way to really see all the detail and textures. So, please stop by and check it out if you happen to be in the neighborhood. Or, better yet, if you want an excuse for a nice road-trip to the Blue Ridge. The gallery is open late on Fridays (till 8pm) and the exhibit includes 72 artists and 98 works of art so there will be lots to take in.
