It was # 36 on my life list, and now it’s done! I couldn’t be happier with the results. These four masks are actually frame-ready 12″ x 12″ art prints, but you can convert them into festive paper masks simply by cutting the faces out of the poster, adding eye holes and tying on a ribbon. Voila!

More pictures of the finished posters and masks after the jump. (Blogged in progress here, here and here.)

Want one for your very ownsome? Paper prints are available from my ETSY Shop, or for a bit of a discount at SEED Gallery in WS (all sales made in the gallery go to support ACS, this month! DO EET!) and through me via paypal (just email me for details – buy two get the third free). Each mask print is hand-printed on heavy card stock paper with non-toxic water-based inks, perfect for a night of masquerading.

I’m also working on a HankiePankie series based on these masks for the Art-O-Mat. I’m planning on making a free black and white printable template based on these masks for download, too, soon. The designs will need to be adjusted to be printed on 8.5″ x 11″ paper first. Just add it to the to-do list, right? Yeah! Anyway, this project as been thoroughly  enjoyable and I think you can tell just by looking.

** updated 10/25/11: Free Printable Template version of the Strange Bird  mask now available for download.
